Article R*322-146 of the French Insurance Code

No survivorship association may have a duration of less than ten years or more than twenty-five years, counted from 1 January of the year in which it was opened.

The period during which a survivorship association remains open must be at least five years less than its total duration.

Aucune association en cas de survie ne peut avoir une durée inférieure à dix ans ni supérieure à vingt-cinq ans, comptés à partir du 1er janvier de l’année au cours de laquelle elle a été ouverte.

La durée pendant laquelle une association en cas de survie demeure ouverte doit être inférieure d’au moins cinq ans à sa durée totale.
