Article R*322-76 of the French Insurance Code

If, as a result of losses recorded in the accounting documents, the net assets fall below half the amount of the formation fund, the Board of Directors or the Management Board is required to call a General Meeting, deliberating as described in article R. 322-65, to decide whether the company should be wound up.

Dans le cas où, du fait de pertes constatées dans les documents comptables, l’actif net devient inférieur à la moitié du montant du fonds d’établissement, le conseil d’administration ou le directoire est tenu de provoquer la réunion de l’assemblée générale délibérant comme il est dit à l’article R. 322-65, à l’effet de statuer sur la question de savoir s’il y a lieu de prononcer la dissolution de la société.
