Article R332-4 of the French Insurance Code

Technical provisions corresponding to the classes mentioned in 20, 21, 22, 24 and 25 of Article R. 321-1 may be represented by:

-advances on contracts ;

-premiums or contributions relating to these classes of business still to be collected, up to three months from the date of collection, up to a ceiling defined by order of the Minister for the Economy and Finance. This ceiling is set according to the impact, under the terms of the regulations, of the possible non-recovery of these premiums or contributions on the amount of the regulated commitments.

Article R332-4

Sont admises en représentation des provisions techniques correspondant aux branches mentionnées aux 20, 21, 22, 24 et 25 de l’article R. 321-1 :

-les avances sur contrats ;

-les primes ou cotisations relatives à ces branches restant à recouvrer, de trois mois de date au plus, dans la limite d’un plafond défini par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie et des finances. Ce plafond est fixé en fonction de l’incidence, aux termes de la réglementation, du non-recouvrement éventuel de ces primes ou cotisations sur le montant des engagements réglementés.
