Article R343-11 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Where, within the jurisdiction of the court of appeal, it is not possible to appoint one of the persons appearing on the list provided for in article R. 343-2 or where this list has not yet been drawn up, the appointment of an ad hoc administrator pursuant to the provisions of article L. 343-2 is made, on a provisional basis and until the list is drawn up or updated annually, from among the natural or legal persons meeting the conditions defined in articles R. 343-3 and R. 343-4 or from among the persons appearing on the list provided for in article R. 53 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The persons thus appointed are awarded the compensation provided for in article R. 343-8.

Lorsque, dans le ressort de la cour d’appel, il n’est pas possible de désigner l’une des personnes figurant sur la liste prévue à l’article R. 343-2 ou que cette liste n’a pas été encore constituée, la désignation d’un administrateur ad hoc en application des dispositions de l’article L. 343-2 est faite, à titre provisoire et jusqu’à l’établissement ou la mise à jour annuelle de la liste, parmi les personnes physiques ou morales remplissant les conditions définies aux articles R. 343-3 et R. 343-4 ou parmi les personnes figurant sur la liste prévue à l’article R. 53 du code de procédure pénale.
Il est alloué aux personnes ainsi désignées l’indemnité prévue à l’article R. 343-8.
