Article R343-12 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The delegate of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees or his representatives shall have access to the waiting area under conditions that guarantee their effective access to asylum seekers.
This access must not hinder the operation of the waiting area and the activities carried out there by State services, transport companies and infrastructure operators.
It shall be exercised with respect for the political, philosophical or religious opinions of the foreign nationals held.

Article R343-12

Le délégué du Haut-Commissariat des Nations unies pour les réfugiés ou ses représentants ont accès à la zone d’attente dans des conditions permettant de garantir leur accès effectif aux demandeurs d’asile.
Cet accès ne doit pas entraver le fonctionnement de la zone d’attente et les activités qu’y exercent les services de l’Etat, les entreprises de transport et les exploitants d’infrastructures.
Il s’exerce dans le respect des opinions politiques, philosophiques ou religieuses des étrangers maintenus.
