I. – In addition to the health warnings provided for in Article L. 3512-22 and the warnings relating to the impact on the environment of the abandonment of waste resulting from the consumption of tobacco products, as well as the signs and information provided for in Article L. 541-9-3 of the Environmental Code, the following information must be legibly and uniformly displayed on a unit packet or outer packaging of cigarettes or roll-your-own tobacco:
1° The brand name ;
2° The trade name;
3° The name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number of the manufacturer;
4° The number of cigarettes contained or an indication of the weight in grams of the rolling tobacco contained.
No other indication may be affixed, except those provided for by law or regulation.
II – When the unit packet or outer packaging of rolling tobacco also contains the rolling paper or filters, the following wording may be added, as appropriate:
1° “contains rolling paper and filters” ;
2° “contains rolling paper” ;
3° “contains filters”.
III – An order by the Minister for Health specifies the location of the information provided for in I and II on the unit packs or outer packaging, as well as their characteristics.
