Article R3515-3 of the French Public Health Code

Any person in charge of premises where the ban laid down in article R. 3512-2 applies is liable to a fourth-class fine for :

1° Failing to display the signs provided for in article R. 3512-7;

2° Making available to smokers a location that does not comply with the provisions of articles R. 3512-3 and R. 3512-4;

3° Knowingly encouraging, by any means whatsoever, the violation of the prohibition mentioned in the first paragraph of this article.

Article R3515-3

Est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la quatrième classe le fait, pour le responsable des lieux où s’applique l’interdiction prévue à l’article R. 3512-2, de :


1° Ne pas mettre en place la signalisation prévue à l’article R. 3512-7 ;


2° Mettre à la disposition de fumeurs un emplacement non conforme aux dispositions des articles R. 3512-3 et R. 3512-4 ;


3° Favoriser, sciemment, par quelque moyen que ce soit, la violation de l’interdiction mentionnée au premier alinéa du présent article.
