Article R3711-23 of the French Public Health Code

Medical reports ordered by the sentence enforcement judge, either on the proposal of the attending physician or that of the coordinating physician, are governed by the Code of Criminal Procedure.

A copy of these expert reports is sent to the coordinating doctor and, under the conditions set out in article R. 3711-22, to the attending doctor.

Les expertises médicales ordonnées par le juge de l’application des peines, soit sur proposition du médecin traitant, soit sur celle du médecin coordonnateur, sont régies par le code de procédure pénale.

Une copie de ces expertises est communiquée au médecin coordonnateur ainsi que, dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 3711-22, au médecin traitant.
