Article R422-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Any person registered on the list of industrial property attorneys may request to be removed from it. They must do so if they no longer meet the conditions set out in Article R. 422-2. The request is submitted to the Director General of the Institute who proceeds with the cancellation after receiving the opinion of the Compagnie nationale des conseils en propriété industrielle.

The striking off shall be stayed in the event of a referral to the disciplinary chamber provided for in Article L. 422-10.

Article R422-5

Toute personne inscrite sur la liste des conseils en propriété industrielle peut demander d’en être radiée. Elle le doit si elle ne remplit plus les conditions prévues à l’article R. 422-2. La demande est présentée au directeur général de l’institut qui procède à la radiation après avis de la Compagnie nationale des conseils en propriété industrielle.

Il est sursis à la radiation en cas de saisine de la chambre de discipline prévue à l’article L. 422-10.
