I. – Persons authorised to pursue a skills consolidation programme may, at their request, obtain a postponement of their assignment for up to eighteen months if, at the time when the Minister responsible for health takes the assignment decisions referred to in the penultimate paragraph of article R. 4221-13 :
– they are pregnant ;
– they cannot be assigned for health reasons certified by an approved doctor; or
– or they can provide proof of exceptional family circumstances.
Requests for deferment must be submitted to the Director of the National Management Centre no later than one month before the start of the skills consolidation programme.
Decisions to postpone are taken by order of the director general of the Centre national de gestion.
II. – If a candidate refuses to complete the skills consolidation programme, the procedure for obtaining a licence to practise is terminated and the person concerned loses the benefit of having passed the knowledge verification tests. The same applies if the course is interrupted, unless this is justified on health grounds or for another compelling reason.
