Article R4225-3 of the French Labour Code

Where special working conditions require workers to drink frequently, the employer shall provide them with at least one non-alcoholic drink free of charge.
The list of workstations concerned is drawn up by the employer, after consulting the occupational physician and the social and economic committee.
The drinks and flavourings made available are chosen taking into account the wishes expressed by the employees and after consulting the occupational physician.

Lorsque des conditions particulières de travail conduisent les travailleurs à se désaltérer fréquemment, l’employeur met gratuitement à leur disposition au moins une boisson non alcoolisée.
La liste des postes de travail concernés est établie par l’employeur, après avis du médecin du travail et du comité social et économique.
Les boissons et les aromatisants mis à disposition sont choisis en tenant compte des souhaits exprimés par les travailleurs et après avis du médecin du travail.
