Without prejudice to the provisions of articles R. 421-36, R. 421-37, R. 421-40 and R. 424-4, the residence permit is withdrawn in the following cases:
1° A foreign national holding a residence permit is the subject of a deportation order;
2° A foreign national holding a residence permit is the subject of a court order banning him/her from the territory;
3° A foreign national holding a temporary residence permit or a multi-annual residence permit ceases to fulfil one of the conditions required for its issue;
4° A foreign national holding a residence permit, residing in France with their first spouse, has brought another spouse or children other than those mentioned in articles L. 434-1 to L. 434-6;
5° A foreign national holding a residence permit is living in France in a state of polygamy; in this case, the residence permit is also withdrawn from the spouse;
6° A foreign national holding a residence permit has been absent from French territory for a period of more than three consecutive years without authorisation to extend this period; <7° A foreign national holding a residence permit bearing the wording "EU long-term resident" granted by France has resided outside the territory of the Member States of the European Union for a period of more than three consecutive years without this period having been the subject of an extension authorisation, or has resided outside French territory for a period of more than six consecutive years, or has acquired EU long-term resident status in another Member State of the European Union;
8° The foreign national holding a resident card is convicted of having committed the offence defined in article 222-9 of the Criminal Code against a minor aged fifteen or has been an accomplice thereto.
