Article R4412-83 of the French Labour Code

In the event of an incident or accident likely to lead to abnormal exposure to chemical agents which are carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction, only workers essential for carrying out repairs and other necessary work will be authorised to work in the affected area until the normal situation is restored and the causes of the abnormal exposure have been eliminated.

En cas d’incident ou d’accident susceptible d’entraîner une exposition anormale à des agents chimiques cancérigènes, mutagènes ou toxiques pour la reproduction, seuls les travailleurs indispensables pour l’exécution des réparations et d’autres travaux nécessaires sont autorisés à travailler dans la zone affectée jusqu’au rétablissement de la situation normale et tant que les causes de l’exposition anormale ne sont pas éliminées.
