Article R4433-8 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Commission is asked to give its opinion on the programme of studies and consultations drawn up by the region, department or local authority with a view to drawing up or developing the outline plan. The Commission gives its opinion on the options for regional development and planning submitted to it, as well as on the various parts making up the outline plan, as the programme progresses.

La commission est saisie pour avis du programme d’études et de concertations établi par la région, le département ou la collectivité en vue de l’élaboration ou de l’évolution du schéma. La commission se prononce sur les options de développement et d’aménagement du territoire qui lui sont soumises ainsi que sur les différentes parties composant le schéma, au fur et à mesure de l’avancement de ce programme.
