Article R4532-19 of the French Labour Code

A natural person who performs the function of coordinator, in his own name or in the name of the organisation which employs him, may not be entrusted with the function of technical inspector provided for in article L. 125-1 of the Code de la construction et de l’habitation in the context of the same building or civil engineering operation.

Except in the case of operations undertaken by a private individual for his personal use, as provided for in Article L. 4532-7, this person may not, where the operation exceeds the amount set by Article R. 4533-1, be entrusted with another function in connection with the same operation. However, this provision does not apply to building or civil engineering operations undertaken by municipalities or groups of municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, where article L. 4531-2 applies.

Article R4532-19

Une personne physique qui exerce la fonction de coordonnateur, en son nom propre ou au nom de l’organisme qui l’emploie, ne peut pas être chargée de la fonction de contrôleur technique prévue à l’article L. 125-1 du code de la construction et de l’habitation dans le cadre d’une même opération de bâtiment ou de génie civil.

Sauf dans les cas d’opérations entreprises par un particulier pour son usage personnel, prévus à l’article L. 4532-7, cette personne ne peut pas, lorsque l’opération excède le montant fixé par l’article R. 4533-1, être chargée d’une autre fonction dans le cadre de la même opération. Toutefois, cette disposition n’est pas applicable aux opérations de bâtiment ou de génie civil entreprises par les communes ou groupements de communes de moins de 5 000 habitants, dans lesquels il est fait application de l’article L. 4531-2.
