Article R4532-70 of the French Labour Code

Before any work is carried out on the site, the contractor in charge of the main work or the main lot, as well as any contractor called upon to carry out work presenting particular risks included in the list of work provided for in article L. 4532-8, must send a copy of the specific safety plan to the Labour Inspectorate, to the prevention department of the social security bodies and to the Organisme professionnel de prévention du bâtiment et des travaux publics. They shall attach the opinions of the occupational physician and the members of the social and economic committee, if these have been given under the conditions provided for in article R. 4532-69.

L’entrepreneur chargé du gros œuvre ou du lot principal ainsi que celui appelé à exécuter des travaux présentant des risques particuliers figurant sur la liste de travaux prévue à l’article L. 4532-8, adressent à l’inspection du travail, au service de prévention des organismes de sécurité sociale et à l’Organisme professionnel de prévention du bâtiment et des travaux publics, avant toute intervention sur le chantier, un exemplaire du plan particulier de sécurité. Ils joignent les avis du médecin du travail et des membres du comité social et économique, s’ils ont été donnés dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 4532-69.
