Article R4623-29 of the French Labour Code

Nurses recruited to an occupational health and prevention service must hold a state diploma or be authorised to practise without restriction under the conditions set out in the Public Health Code. If the nurse has not undergone occupational health training, the employer shall enrol him/her in such training during the twelve months following his/her recruitment and shall encourage his/her continuing education.

L’infirmier recruté dans un service de prévention et de santé au travail est diplômé d’Etat ou a l’autorisation d’exercer sans limitation dans les conditions prévues par le code de la santé publique. Si l’infirmier n’a pas suivi une formation en santé au travail, l’employeur l’y inscrit au cours des douze mois qui suivent son recrutement et favorise sa formation continue.
