Article R4642-10 of the French Labour Code

The purpose of the Fonds pour l’Amélioration des Conditions de Travail (Fund for the Improvement of Working Conditions) is to encourage and assist companies, in particular small and medium-sized companies, associations or professional branches, by means of subsidies and within the framework of participative approaches, to design and implement experimental projects within the scope of the missions entrusted to the Agence Nationale pour l’Amélioration des Conditions de Travail (National Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions). The procedures for awarding subsidies from the fund are set by order of the Minister for Labour.

The management of credits from the Fund for the Improvement of Working Conditions is entrusted to the National Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions. The general framework for the agency’s intervention is the subject of an agreement between the State and the agency.

Le Fonds pour l’amélioration des conditions de travail a pour objet d’inciter et d’aider les entreprises, notamment les petites et moyennes entreprises, les associations ou les branches professionnelles au moyen de subventions et dans le cadre de démarches participatives, à concevoir et à mettre en œuvre des projets d’expérimentation dans le champ des missions confiées à l’Agence nationale pour l’amélioration des conditions de travail. Les modalités d’attribution des subventions allouées au titre du fonds sont fixées par arrêté du ministre chargé du travail.

La gestion des crédits du Fonds pour l’amélioration des conditions de travail est confiée à l’Agence nationale pour l’amélioration des conditions de travail. Le cadre général d’intervention de l’agence fait l’objet d’une convention conclue entre l’Etat et l’agence.
