Article R5123-37 of the French Labour Code

Suspension of the agreement entails suspension of payment of the State’s financial contribution from the first day of the month following the month in which the breach was detected. Suspension does not extend the term of the agreement.
However, the authority signing the agreement may, after assessing the seriousness of the company’s breaches, its situation and the new commitments made by the employer, conclude an amendment to the agreement providing for the continuation of part of the State’s financial contribution.

Article R5123-37

La suspension de la convention entraîne la suspension du versement de la participation financière de l’Etat à compter du premier jour du mois suivant celui au cours duquel le manquement a été constaté. Elle n’a pas pour effet de prolonger la durée de la convention.
Toutefois, l’autorité signataire de la convention peut, après appréciation de la gravité des manquements de l’entreprise, de sa situation et des nouveaux engagements pris par l’employeur, conclure un avenant à la convention prévoyant le maintien d’une partie de la participation financière de l’Etat.
