Article R5132-27 of the French Labour Code

After consulting the Conseil départemental de l’insertion par l’activité économique and taking into account the quality of the proposed integration project and the existing offer to ensure a balanced development of social and professional integration actions, the Prefect may enter into agreements to set up one or more integration workshops and work camps with :

1° A private, not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to employ the people referred to in article L. 5132-1 or to employ prisoners who have signed a prison employment contract, in order to facilitate their social and professional integration by developing activities that are primarily of social benefit;

2° A communal or inter-communal social action centre;

3° A local authority;

4° A public establishment for inter-communal cooperation;

5° A mixed syndicate;

6° The départements ;

7° A chamber of agriculture;

8° A State vocational and agricultural training establishment;

9° The National Forestry Office.

Article R5132-27

Après consultation du conseil départemental de l’insertion par l’activité économique et en tenant compte de la qualité du projet d’insertion proposé et de l’offre existante pour assurer un développement équilibré des actions d’insertion sociale et professionnelle, le préfet peut conclure des conventions pour la mise en place d’un ou plusieurs ateliers et chantiers d’insertion avec :

1° Un organisme de droit privé à but non lucratif ayant pour objet l’embauche de personnes mentionnées à l’article L. 5132-1 ou l’emploi de personnes détenues ayant signé un contrat d’emploi pénitentiaire afin de faciliter leur insertion sociale et professionnelle en développant des activités ayant principalement un caractère d’utilité sociale ;

2° Un centre communal ou intercommunal d’action sociale ;

3° Une commune ;

4° Un établissement public de coopération intercommunale ;

5° Un syndicat mixte ;

6° Les départements ;

7° Une chambre d’agriculture ;

8° Un établissement d’enseignement professionnel et d’enseignement agricole de l’Etat ;

9° L’Office national des forêts.
