Article R551-21 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

For the application of 2° of article L. 551-16, an asylum seeker is considered to have left their place of accommodation if they are absent for more than a week without valid justification.
In this case, the manager of the place shall inform the French Office for Immigration and Integration without delay, pursuant to article L. 552-5.

Pour l’application du 2° de l’article L. 551-16, un demandeur d’asile est considéré comme ayant quitté son lieu d’hébergement s’il s’en absente plus d’une semaine sans justification valable.
Dans ce cas, le gestionnaire du lieu en informe sans délai, en application de l’article L. 552-5, l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration.
