Article R6121-9 of the French Labour Code

Vocational training, financed by the region in application of the second paragraph of I of article L. 6121-2 for the benefit of any person seeking to enter the labour market, is free of charge for expenses relating to the educational costs of this training and the costs of the procedure for acquiring the vocational certification classified at level 4 or lower to which it leads.

It may also include the payment by the region of enrolment fees and any ancillary costs, in particular accommodation or catering costs.

Article R6121-9

La gratuité de la formation professionnelle, financée par la région en application du deuxième alinéa du I de l’article L. 6121-2 au bénéfice de toute personne cherchant à s’insérer sur le marché du travail, s’entend des dépenses liées aux frais pédagogiques de cette formation et aux frais de la procédure d’acquisition de la certification professionnelle classée au plus au niveau 4 auquel elle conduit.

Elle peut également s’étendre à la prise en charge par la région des frais d’inscription et d’éventuels frais annexes, notamment des frais d’hébergement ou de restauration.
