The holder of the authorisation for category A has a scanner and an ultrasound scanner on site.
The holder of the authorisation for categories B and C has access to :
1° On-site access to a scanner and an ultrasound scanner ;
2° On-site or by agreement to a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging machine.
The holder of the authorisation for category D has access, on site, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to a scanner and a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging device, as well as to an ultrasound scanner.
CT scanners and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging equipment exclusively dedicated to interventional radiology are mentioned for information in the application for authorisation and, where applicable in the case of a new installation, are declared to the competent regional health agency before being put into service.
