Article R6123-170 of the French Public Health Code

The holder of the authorisation for category A has a scanner and an ultrasound scanner on site.

The holder of the authorisation for categories B and C has access to :

1° On-site access to a scanner and an ultrasound scanner ;

2° On-site or by agreement to a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging machine.

The holder of the authorisation for category D has access, on site, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to a scanner and a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging device, as well as to an ultrasound scanner.

CT scanners and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging equipment exclusively dedicated to interventional radiology are mentioned for information in the application for authorisation and, where applicable in the case of a new installation, are declared to the competent regional health agency before being put into service.

Le titulaire de l’autorisation au titre de la mention A dispose sur site d’un scanographe et d’un échographe.

Le titulaire de l’autorisation au titre des mentions B et C dispose d’un accès :

1° Sur site à un scanographe et à un échographe ;

2° Sur site ou par voie de convention à un appareil d’imagerie par résonance magnétique nucléaire.

Le titulaire de l’autorisation au titre de la mention D dispose d’un accès, sur site, vingt-quatre heures sur vingt-quatre, sept jours sur sept, à un scanographe et à un appareil d’imagerie par résonance magnétique nucléaire, ainsi qu’à un échographe.

Les scanographes et les appareils d’imagerie par résonance magnétique nucléaire exclusivement dédiés à la radiologie interventionnelle font l’objet d’une mention pour information dans la demande d’autorisation et le cas échéant dans le cadre d’une nouvelle installation, d’une déclaration à l’agence régionale de santé compétente avant la mise en service.
