Article R6123-6 of the French Public Health Code

Authorisation to carry out the activity mentioned in 3° of Article R. 6123-1 may only be granted to a health care establishment if it satisfies the following conditions:

1° It has full inpatient medical beds ;

2° It has access to a technical platform for surgery, medical imaging and medical biology analyses, either within the establishment itself or under an agreement with another healthcare establishment, an imaging practice or a local medical biology analysis laboratory, or as part of the network mentioned in article R. 6123-26.

Article R6123-6

L’autorisation d’exercer l’activité mentionnée au 3° de l’article R. 6123-1 ne peut être délivrée à un établissement de santé que s’il satisfait aux conditions suivantes :

1° Disposer de lits d’hospitalisation complète en médecine ;

2° Disposer d’un accès à un plateau technique de chirurgie, d’imagerie médicale et d’analyses de biologie médicale, en son sein ou par convention avec un autre établissement de santé, avec un cabinet d’imagerie ou avec un laboratoire d’analyses de biologie médicale de ville, ou dans le cadre du réseau mentionné à l’article R. 6123-26.
