Article R6123-83-2 of the French Public Health Code

The health care establishment authorised to carry out the activity of exceptional organ or tissue transplantation or composite vascularised tissue transplantation must be able to ensure its implementation at all times.

The authorised health establishment provides medical care before and after the graft operation. Where the establishment does not itself provide full patient follow-up, it will enter into an agreement with one or more health establishments as part of an organised care network.

L’établissement de santé autorisé à pratiquer l’activité de greffe exceptionnelle d’organes ou de tissus ou de greffe composite de tissus vascularisés doit pouvoir en assurer à tout moment la mise en œuvre.

L’établissement de santé autorisé assure la prise en charge médicale avant et après l’intervention pour greffe. Lorsque l’établissement n’assure pas lui-même le suivi complet des patients, il passe une convention avec un ou plusieurs établissements de santé dans le cadre d’une filière de soins organisée.
