Article R6123-84-1 of the French Public Health Code

The National Committee is chaired by the Director General of Healthcare or his/her representative. The Agence de la biomédecine provides the secretariat.

The members of the National Committee are subject to the provisions of article L. 1451-1 and are bound by professional secrecy with regard to any information that may have come to their knowledge by virtue of their duties, under the conditions and subject to the penalties laid down in articles 226-13 and 226-14 of the French Penal Code.

Le comité national est présidé par le directeur général de l’offre de soins ou son représentant. L’Agence de la biomédecine en assure le secrétariat.

Les membres du comité national sont soumis aux dispositions de l’article L. 1451-1 et sont astreints au secret professionnel pour les informations dont ils ont pu avoir connaissance en raison de leurs fonctions, dans les conditions et sous les peines prévues aux articles 226-13 et 226-14 du code pénal.
