I.-Without prejudice to the application of the provisions of I of article R. 6123-91, the establishment authorised to treat cancer in children and adolescents under the age of eighteen is a member of an inter-regional paediatric oncology referral hospital organisation, identified by the Institut National du Cancer in application of article L. 1415-2. This organisation is responsible in particular for organising and providing inter-regional paediatric multidisciplinary consultation for patients under the age of eighteen, which meets the same obligations as the multidisciplinary consultations referred to in article R. 6123-91-1.
II. -Treatment proposals for children and adolescents under the age of eighteen are systematically the responsibility of an inter-regional paediatric oncology multidisciplinary consultation meeting, in compliance with the conditions set out in the previous paragraph.
III.- For adolescents aged between sixteen and eighteen, the inter-regional paediatric multidisciplinary consultation meeting may propose treatment in an establishment authorised to treat cancer in adult patients. Such referral requires the informed and explicit agreement of the patient and his family.
The provisions of 1° and 2° of article R. 6123-92-9 and article R. 6123-94-2 and the approval criteria of the Institut National du Cancer for the practice of cancer treatment in children and adolescents under the age of eighteen then apply to the facility providing the care. Any change of treatment is discussed at an inter-regional paediatric multidisciplinary consultation meeting.
