Article R615-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Before deciding to implement a deportation decision taken against a foreign national by a State mentioned in article R. 615-2, the administrative authority shall, in all cases, ensure that it is enforceable and that grounds for it exist by consulting the State that issued it for this purpose.

Avant de décider de mettre en œuvre la décision d’éloignement prise à l’encontre d’un étranger par un Etat mentionné à l’article R. 615-2, l’autorité administrative s’assure, dans tous les cas, de son caractère exécutoire et de ses motifs en consultant à cette fin l’Etat qui l’a édictée.
