At the Assistance publique-hôpitaux de Paris, the Hospices civils de Lyon and the Assistance publique-hôpitaux de Marseille, there are as many local commissions for private practice as there are local institutional medical commissions. The local commissions for private practice are responsible for ensuring that private practice runs smoothly and that the legislative and regulatory provisions governing it are complied with, as well as the stipulations of practitioners’ contracts. They shall provide the Professional Activity Commission with the information and opinions it needs to perform its duties and may refer to it any questions relating to the professional activity of the practitioners mentioned in article L. 6154-1 .
For the application of the provisions of article R. 6154-12, one of the members mentioned in 5° is appointed by the competent local medical establishment committee and the other is appointed by the medical establishment committee from among the practitioners practising outside the establishment where the local medical establishment committee has its headquarters.
By way of derogation from 2° of article R. 6154-12, the Supervisory Board appoints two non-physician representatives, at least one of whom must be a member of the Supervisory Board.
