Article R623-22 of the French Consumer Code

A consumer who has not been compensated by the trader, and who has not provided the relevant documents in support of his claim before the expiry of the time limit set by the judge for referring to him claims for compensation which have not been granted by the trader, shall be deemed to have renounced his membership.

Le consommateur qui n’a pas été indemnisé par le professionnel, et qui n’a pas fourni les documents utiles au soutien de sa demande avant l’expiration du délai fixé par le juge pour le saisir des demandes d’indemnisation auxquelles le professionnel n’a pas fait droit, est réputé renoncer à son adhésion.
