Voting envelopes are sent to the prefecture of the department in which the headquarters of the territorial chamber of commerce and industry is located, which draws up a summary statement.
Under penalty of nullity of the vote, the envelopes in which the votes are sent shall contain the following information:
1° The name of the jurisdiction concerned by the election;
2° The words: “Election of consular delegates”;
3° The name of the voter;
4° His first names;
5° His signature;
6° His registration number on the electoral list;
7° The designation of the professional category and, where applicable, the sub-category to which he belongs.
Voting envelopes may include a device enabling automated reading, under conditions of security and in accordance with procedures defined by joint order of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of the Interior issued after consultation with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés.
