A judge appointed by the first president of each court of appeal from among the judges of the court is responsible for responding to any request for an opinion on an ethical issue that the president of a commercial court located within the jurisdiction of the court may refer to him, on his own initiative or at the request of a judge of his court.
In his opinions, this member of the judiciary shall ensure compliance with the ethical obligations set out in the compendium referred to in article R. 721-11-1. It takes into account the opinions and recommendations issued by the college of ethics provided for in article R. 721-20.
