The administrative authority competent to designate, pursuant to article L. 721-6, a foreign national’s place of residence is the département prefect and, in Paris, the police prefect.

L’autorité administrative compétente pour désigner, en application de l’article L. 721-6, le lieu de résidence d’un étranger est le préfet de département et, à Paris, le préfet de police.
