Article R823-14 of the French Consumer Code

The annual report on the laboratory’s activities is sent by the Chairman of the Board of Directors to the Minister for Industry, who forwards it to the Prime Minister and to all the ministers concerned.
This report, which is published, includes a section relating to the general conclusions that can be drawn from the laboratory’s work in areas of particular interest to consumer health and safety, the quality and durability of goods, and environmental protection, and setting out, where appropriate, the measures that seem desirable in the light of these conclusions.

Le rapport annuel d’activité du laboratoire est adressé par le président du conseil d’administration au ministre chargé de l’industrie qui le transmet au Premier ministre et à tous les ministres intéressés.
Ce rapport qui fait l’objet d’une publication, comprend une partie relative aux conclusions générales qui peuvent être tirées des travaux du laboratoire dans les domaines intéressant notamment la santé et la sécurité des consommateurs, la qualité et la durabilité des biens, la protection de l’environnement et exposant, le cas échéant, les mesures qui semblent souhaitables au vu de ces conclusions.
