Article R9 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The members of the technical examination panels referred to in articles R. 7 and R. 8 are appointed by joint order of the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, and the Minister of the Interior.

The members of the juries mentioned in 5° and 6° of articles R. 7 and R. 8 may not serve on the jury for more than eight years, regardless of whether they are full or substitute members.

Les membres des jurys de l’examen technique mentionnés aux articles R. 7 et R. 8 sont nommés par arrêté conjoint du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, et du ministre de l’intérieur.

Les membres des jurys mentionnés aux 5° et 6° des articles R. 7 et R. 8 ne peuvent exercer leurs fonctions au sein du jury pour une durée supérieure à huit ans quelle que soit leur qualité de titulaire ou de suppléant.
