For the application of this code in the Department of Mayotte, the terms listed below are replaced as follows: 1° to 8° Repealed; 9° “préfet” or “sous-préfet” by “représentant de l’Etat à Mayotte”; 10° “chambre de commerce et d’industrie territoriale” by “chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Mayotte” ; 11° “chambre d’agriculture” by “chambre d’agriculture, de la pêche, et de l’aquaculture de Mayotte”; 12° “chambre des métiers et de l’artisanat”…
References made, by provisions of the present code applicable to Mayotte, to other articles of the present code, concern only those articles made applicable to Mayotte with the adaptations provided for in the chapters below.
In the absence of adaptation, references made by provisions of this code applicable in Mayotte to provisions which are not applicable there, are replaced by references to provisions with the same purpose applicable locally.
Articles referring to the European Community shall apply in compliance with the Association Decision provided for in Article 187 of the Treaty establishing the European Community. References to the Agreement on the European Economic Area shall not apply.
In article R. 121-5, the words: I de l’article L. 121-4 are replaced by: l’article L. 121-4.
For the application of articles R. 123-103 to R. 123-117, the deeds and documents mentioned in these articles are communicated by the registrars under the conditions set out in article R. 123-150.
For the application of Section 4 of Chapter III of Title II of Book I, the powers devolved to the presidents and staff of the regional chambers of trades and crafts are exercised by the president and staff of the Mayotte regional chamber of trades and crafts.
Article R. 330-1 is worded as follows: “The content of the document mentioned in the second paragraph of Article L. 330-3 is set by an order of the State representative. “
Articles R. 420-3 and R. 420-4 are as follows: “For the application of Article L. 420-7, the seat and jurisdiction of the courts with jurisdiction in the Department of Mayotte shall be determined in accordance with the tables in Annexes 9-4 and 9-5 of this book. “
