Section 1: Coastal development, protection and enhancement.

If a tourist complex that significantly increases the number of seasonal visitors or brings about a substantial change in the use of the coastline for bathing or boating is not managed by a municipality or group of municipalities, an agreement must be signed with the municipality by the public or private entity carrying out the operation to set out the terms and conditions under which this public or private entity…

The term of the agreement may not exceed fifteen years or, exceptionally, thirty years if justified by the depreciation period of the facilities.

The conditions for the application of this section shall be laid down, where necessary, by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
