Article L3443-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The share of the departmental equalisation grant mentioned in article L. 3334-4 received by the overseas departments is determined by applying to the total amount of the equalisation grant twice the ratio, increased by 10%, between the population of the overseas departments, as resulting from the last general census, and the total national population , subject to the provisions of the fifth paragraph of article L. 3334-4.
