In application of the provisions of Article L. 1421-1, the general rules relating to the archives of local authorities are laid down by the provisions of articles R. 212-49 to R. 212-56 and R. 212-62 to R. 212-64 of the heritage code.
In application of the provisions of Article L. 1421-2, the rules relating to the deposit of communal archives are laid down by the provisions of articles R. 212-57 à R. 212-61 du code du patrimoine.
In application of Article L. 1421-3, the rules relating to the right of pre-emption over private archives exercised by the State on behalf of and at the request of local authorities are laid down by the provisions of article R. 212-91 of the Heritage Code.
In application of the provisions of article L. 1421-4, the rules relating to the libraries of local authorities or their groupings are laid down by the provisions of articles R. 310-1 to R. 314-1 of the Heritage Code.
In application of the provisions of article L. 1421-4, the rules relating to municipal and inter-municipal libraries are laid down by the provisions of articles D. 320-1 and R. 320-2 of the Heritage Code.
In application of the provisions of article L. 1421-5, the rules relating to departmental libraries are laid down by the provisions of Article R. 330-1 of the Heritage Code.
In application of the provisions of Article L. 1421-7, the rules relating to the archaeological services of local authorities are laid down by the provisions of article R. 522-2 and articles R. 523-24 to R. 523-29 of the Heritage Code.
The rules governing the transfer of ownership free of charge of movable objects resulting from a preventive archaeology excavation to a territorial authority or group of authorities on whose territory the objects were discovered are set by the provisions of articles R. 523-67 and R. 523-68 of the Heritage Code.
In application of the provisions of article L. 1421-8, the rules relating to the custody and conservation of movable objects classified as historic monuments owned, assigned or deposited by local authorities and their public establishments or public utility establishments are set out in the provisions of articles R. 622-26 to R. 622-31 of the French Heritage Code.
