Section 5: Inter-ministerial cooperation and exchanges of information relating to the fight against trafficking in doping substances or methods

In each region and in Corsica, a regional commission to combat trafficking in doping substances or methods is set up. Its purpose is to lead and coordinate the work of the decentralised government departments and the French Anti-Doping Agency in the fight against trafficking in doping substances or methods. The regional commission to combat trafficking in doping substances or methods meets at least once a year, at the initiative of one of the co-chairs. The secretariat for this commission is provided by the regional government department responsible for sport. The Regional Commission adopts an annual report outlining its activities and proposals. This report is sent to the Director of Sport and the Director of Criminal Affairs and Pardons.

The Regional Commission may hear qualified persons.

The Director of Sport and the Director of Criminal Affairs and Pardons are responsible for leading and coordinating the regional commissions to combat trafficking in doping substances or methods.
