Chapter II: Pharmacy and medical physics professions

Subject to the adaptations provided for in this chapter, the following provisions of Book II of this Part shall apply in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands: – Title I, with the exception of articles L. 4211-6, L. 4211-7, L. 4212-1 and L. 4212-3 ; – Chapters I and II of Title II, with the exception of articles L. 4222-1 to L. 4222-4 ; – articles L. 4223-4…

For the application of the provisions of Book II of this Part in the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands : 1° The powers devolved to the representative of the State in the department are exercised by the senior administrator of the territory; 2° The word “département” is replaced by : “territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands”.

For the application of the second paragraph of article L. 4211-5 in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, the words “after obtaining the opinion of the regional director of health and social affairs” do not apply.

For its application in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, the words “defined in Article L. 5126-1” are deleted from Article L. 4211-2.

For the application of article L. 4211-3 in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna islands, the words “by the representative of the State in the department after obtaining the opinion of the regional director of health and social affairs” are replaced by the words: “by the senior administrator of the territory”.

For the application of article L. 4221-16 in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, the words “at the prefecture” are replaced by the words: “at the offices of the territory’s senior administrator”.

For the application of article L. 4221-17 in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, the words: “subject to the provisions of article L. 138-9 of the Social Security Code,” are replaced by the words: “subject to discounts, rebates and similar commercial and financial advantages of any kind granted by all suppliers of pharmacies for reimbursable pharmaceutical specialities”.

For the application of article L. 4232-1 in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna islands, section E is composed of all pharmacists practising their profession in the overseas departments, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Mayotte and the territory of the Wallis and Futuna islands, with the exception of the pharmacists mentioned in article L. 4222-7.

Chapter I of Title V of Book II of this Part is applicable in the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands.
