Chapter II: General implementation provisions

When an employee has all or part of his acquired experience validated during working time and at his own initiative, he is entitled to leave for this purpose. The employee applies to the employer for authorisation to take the leave provided for in article L. 6323-17. The employer may refuse this authorisation for service reasons, giving reasons for postponing it within a period and according to procedures defined by decree.

The duration of this leave may not exceed forty-eight hours per assessment session. This period may be increased by collective agreement.
