Paragraph 1: National agricultural risk management fund

The accounting and financial management of the national agricultural risk management fund referred to in Article L. 442-1 is carried out by the caisse centrale de réassurance in an account separate from those which record the other operations carried out by this institution. The costs incurred by the caisse centrale de réassurance in managing the fund are reimbursed to it under conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

The Caisse Centrale de Réassurance may contribute to the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policy on the management of climate risks in agriculture and the development of insurance against these risks.
