Section 2: Provisions common to all pharmacists

All pharmacists registered with the Order owe each other mutual help and assistance in the performance of their professional duties. In all circumstances, they must show loyalty and solidarity towards each other.

Pharmacists must treat the pharmacists under their authority as colleagues and must not interfere with the exercise of their professional mandates.

Pharmacists are prohibited from encouraging any colleague to terminate his or her employment contract.

A pharmacist who, either during or after his studies, has replaced, assisted or seconded one of his colleagues for a period of at least six consecutive months may not, at the end of this period and for a period of two years, undertake the operation of a pharmacy or a medical biology analysis laboratory where his presence would enable him to compete directly with the colleague who has been replaced,…

A pharmacist may not make use of documents or information of an internal nature of which he has become aware during the performance of his duties with his former employer or training supervisor, except with the latter’s express agreement.

A pharmacist must refrain from making any unjustified denunciation or any denunciation made with the intention of harming a colleague.

Pharmacists who have a professional dispute between themselves must try to resolve it. If they are unable to do so, they shall notify the president of the relevant regional or central council of the Association.
