Section 2: Persons authorised to practise the profession

I.-Within one month of receipt of the declaration, the Prefect of the region referred to in the first paragraph of Article R. 4331-12 will inform the service provider, in the light of the examination of his file, either: 1° Either that he may begin providing the services without prior verification of his professional qualifications ; 2° Or, where verification of his professional qualifications, which may only be for the purpose…

The regional prefect registers the service provider on a special list. The Prefect will send the applicant a receipt showing the registration number and, in the case of partial access, the professional title under which he is authorised to practise and the corresponding field of activity, and specifying the competent national health insurance body. The declaration is renewable every year. In the event of a change in the applicant’s situation…

The service provider shall inform the competent national health insurance body in advance of his service by sending a copy of the receipt referred to in Article R. 4331-12-2 or by any other means.

If there is any doubt about the language skills required to practise the profession, the regional director of youth, sport and social cohesion or his representative, appointed by order of the Minister for Health, will check that the applicant has a sufficient command of the French language.

The following are laid down by order of the Minister for Health: 1° The model for the declaration and the declaration of partial practice as well as the list of supporting documents ; 2° The information to be provided in the statistical reports.
