The régie, which has legal personality and financial autonomy, is administered by a board of directors and its chairman, as well as a director.
The régie with sole financial autonomy is administered, under the authority of the mayor and the municipal council, by an operating board and its chairman as well as a director. The same operating board or the same director may be responsible for the administration or management of several régies.
The Articles of Association lay down the general rules for the organisation and operation of the Board of Directors or the Operating Board and the quorum arrangements. The members of the board of directors or the operating board are appointed by the municipal council, on the proposal of the mayor. Their duties are terminated in the same manner.
Representatives of the municipality must hold the majority of seats on the board of directors or the operating board.
