The expenses of the Agence de la biomédecine include personnel, operating and investment costs and, in general, all those justified by its activity. In the context of relations with foreign organisations, the Agency is authorised to make guarantee deposits. Bank accounts for financial transactions with foreign organisations are opened with the authorisation of the Minister for the Economy.

The Agence de la biomédecine is subject to the provisions of Titles I and III of Decree 2012-1246 of 7 November 2012 on public budgetary and accounting management.
Revenue and imprest accounts may be set up in accordance with the provisions of Decree no. 2019-798 of 26 July 2019 on the revenue and imprest accounts of public bodies.
