The purpose of safety training relating to working conditions is to teach workers, based on the risks to which they are exposed: 1° The safest ways of behaving and doing things, using demonstrations if possible; 2° The operating methods adopted if they have an impact on their safety or that of other workers; 3° The operation of protective and emergency devices and the reasons for their use.
Safety training relating to the conditions in which the work is carried out is part of the training or professional instructions that the worker receives. It is given at the workplace or, failing that, under equivalent conditions.
In the event of the creation or modification of a workstation or technique exposing the worker to new risks and involving one of the tasks listed below, the worker shall, where appropriate, after analysis by the employer of the new working conditions, receive safety training on the conditions under which the work is performed: 1° Use of machinery, whether portable or not; 2° Handling or use of chemical products; 3°…
In the event of a change of workstation or technique, a worker exposed to new risks or assigned to one of the tasks defined in article R. 4141-15 will receive the safety training provided for in that same article. This training is supplemented, if there is a change in the workplace, by training relating to the conditions of movement of persons.
The purpose of safety training on what to do in the event of an accident or disaster is to prepare workers for what to do if someone is injured or poisoned at work.
Workers assigned to one of the tasks listed in article R. 4141-15 receive training in what to do in the event of an accident or disaster.
When changing workstations or techniques, workers exposed to new risks or assigned to one of the tasks defined in article R. 4141-15 receive safety training on what to do in the event of an accident or disaster.
