The sanction provided for in article L. 1332-2 shall be the subject of a written, reasoned decision. The decision is notified to the employee either by letter delivered against receipt, or by registered letter, within the period of one month provided for in article L. 1332-2.

The one-month period provided for in article L. 1332-2 expires at midnight on the day of the following month that bears the same date as the day set for the interview. In the absence of an identical date, the period expires at midnight on the last day of the following month.
