Subsection 10: Specialised committees for grades and equivalent grades

The federations mentioned in article A. 212-175-15 appoint the members of the specialised commissions for the equivalent grades and levels, whose composition is as follows: two-thirds of members representing the federation, including a president appointed by the federation and the national technical director ; one third of members representing the multi-sport, affinity, school and university federations concerned, in proportion to the number of their respective licence holders. Members of specialised commissions for dan and equivalent grades must hold a 6th dan or equivalent grade. Failing this, members holding a 5th dan or 4th dan or equivalent grade may be appointed.

The term of office of the members of the specialised commissions for the equivalent grades is identical to the term of office of the governing bodies of the federations mentioned in article A. 212-175-15.

The federations mentioned in article A. 212-175-15 inform the Minister responsible for sport of the conditions necessary for the presentation of a dan or equivalent grade.
